Subject: [fdconline] Volunteers needed for Flatbush Frolic!
Hey there!
FDC is getting a jump on planning the Flatbush Frolic. The concept
is "Country Fair with a City Flair". That's right, we're going
country. Chili cook offs, bake-a-rama, local music, square dancers,
farmer's market, local arts and crafts vendors, games of chance, the
all important dunking booth (who wants to dunk their favorite
Cortelyou personality?), rides, petting zoo...this is just the tip of
the iceberg.
The Frolic Committee is looking for volunteers who want to have fun
and WORK with us to ensure the Frolic is the best the nabe has seen
since the late 70s.
We need a person(s) for each of the following activities:
*Dunking Booth
*Best Dressed Dog Contest
*Bake-a-Rama
*Chili Cook-Off
*Youth Activities: Sack Race / Double Dutch Contest / Three legged
Race
*Pie Eating Contest
Please contact Cathy Hickey, Director of Eco Dev, at
chickey [at] fdconline.org or 718-859-4831 for further details.
Thanks!
Cathy
